About Kate Mildenhall
Kate Mildenhall is an acclaimed author, writing teacher and podcaster. Her novels Skylarking, The Mother Fault and The Hummingbird Effect have received major award longlistings and shortlistings, including the ABIA, Stella Prize and Indie Book Awards. In 2024, she released her first picture book, To Stir with Love, illustrated by Jess Racklyeft, which was also highly commended. Kate is also the former co-host of The First Time Podcast, where she interviewed more than 200 writers from around the world.
