Dream Racing Australia has announced that Lachlan Evennett (Evennett Racing) has been confirmed as the team’s first Toyota 86 signing for the remaining rounds of the Toyota Gazoo Racing Australia GR Cup.
At just 16 years old, Evennett, a promising young talent from Townsville, has already made significant strides in the 2024 racing season. This new opportunity comes after a formative year on track, with appearances in the Aussie Racing Cars Super Series, National Formula Ford, and the Toyota Gazoo Racing Australia Scholarship Series.
Evennett is set to make his highly anticipated debut at one of Australia’s most prestigious racing events, the Supercars enduro Sandown 500, in September.
This milestone marks a significant step in Evennett’s racing career, as he becomes the first driver signed by Dream Racing Australia to contest the Toyota Gazoo Racing Australia GR Cup.
