Join us for a special evening with marine biologist, author, underwater photographer and filmmaker Lawrence Scheele at Mary Who? Bookshop.
Lawrence is passionate about documenting the lesser-known creatures of the ocean and capturing the beauty and fragility of marine ecosystems. Having studied at James Cook University here in Townsville, his work is closely connected to the Great Barrier Reef and the local region.
During the evening, Lawrence will share stories behind his underwater photography, insights into unique marine species and their behaviours, what makes Magnetic Island so special, and his journey as an independent author. The evening will also include a Q&A session and book signing.
This is a wonderful opportunity to hear from a local creative and scientist whose work shines a light on the world beneath the surface.
